CALIFORNIA DOES IT AGAIN!
Four winners, including the Best of Show, at SAF's Outstanding Varieties Competition are all from California growers!
Sacramento, Calif., October 18, 2007---The California sunshine proves to be an advantage yet again for several California cut flower growers. 'Kelly' Spray Rose, grown by Eufloria Flowers took Best in Show honors at the 110th Society of American Florists' (SAF) Annual Convention in Palm Springs, CA in September. Best in Class for Roses also went to Eufloria Flowers for 'Sweet Avalanche.' Congratulations also go to Green Valley Floral for their Best in Class-Gerbera win with "Esmara.'

Not to be left out, Resendiz Brothers Protea Growers took a "Best in Class-other cut flower" with their Black and Green Kangaroo Paw (Anigozanthos) and Mellano and Company brought home a Best in Class-Decorative Cut Foliage with Pittosporum.
