Origins
Small, cup-shaped purple blooms set amid soft, needlelike leaves are characteristic of boronia heterophylla. This nonhardy, evergreen shrub is a native of Australia and Tasmania. Boronia is a member of the Rutaceae family. It is named in honor of Francesco Borone, a personal servant who died in 1794 while collecting a plant for botanist John Sibthorp.

Vase Life
5-7 days.

Design Uses
An excellent filler flower with a burst of color, baronia emits a sharp, lemony fragrance when the stems are cut or leaves touched.

Colors: Deep pink.
