'Vermeer' Stuns CSFA Audience

Sacramento, Calif.--- B&H Flowers, Inc. Zantedeschia variety 'Vermeer' took the People's Choice Award over 40+ cut flower varieties at the California State Floral Association's (CSFA) Calif-Flora "Bridges" event held in Oakland over the weekend of Oct 20-21, 2007.

'Vermeer' proved to be a designer's favorite as well as it was used in design programs by Gregor Lersch, Tom Simmons AIFD and Beverley Ireland AIFD over the two-day event.

Even members of the "Raider Nation," cheering on their beloved football team at the same hotel, stopped by to be awed by the beauty in Vermeer. Florists, wholesalers, growers and floral students were impressed with all of the varieties shown, but Vermeer won the hearts of the crowd.

J. Scott Fulton, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for B&H Flowers, Inc. was stunned to learn of the honor and jokingly asked for a recount thinking that another variety got confused with "Vermeer". Nonetheless, Fulton was pleased with the confidence placed in the Zantedeschia.
